sync_frm

Information

If this variable is set to 1 when any non-temporary table is created its .frm file is synchronized to disk (using fdatasync()). This is slower but safer in case of a crash. The default is 1. This was added as a command-line option in MySQL 4.0.18. It is also a settable global variable as of MySQL 4.1.3.
